XHTML and CSS
To solve the problems associated with different browsers rendering websites differently and issues with irregular spacing and formatting of a website, the CSS and XHTML standards have been developed and I can implement for you a website using the CSS 2.0 standard.This website is developed fully using these two standards and so is the site in the image alongside .

PHP/MySQL
PHP is used to load dynamic content into a webpage from a MySQL database. An example of a project I have undertaken using PHP 5 and MySQL is a protein classification system which may be used by research institutions to keep track of proteins relationships for newly classified protein families. I have also been involved in the development of a web based fleet management system and a leave management system for firms to keep track of their employees leave schedule.

Joomla CMS
Use of a content Management System (CMS) is getting very popular especially for websites which have very dynamic content. I have worked using Joomla 1.0 and I am currently using Joomla 1.5 for website development. Inset is an image of a full joomla website I have developed.

I have developed a few java desktop applications using the MS SQL database. As for web based java applications, I have developed a web crawler using java which analyses web statistics for websites and gives a report to the webmaster on the relative performance of the websites he is managing.
